Well hello, my loves.

I have missed this little corner of the internet more than I can properly put into words, and I hope you've had the most wonderful, slow, sun-drenched summer.

It feels so good to be back.

I made the decision at the start of August to take a proper four weeks away from any extra bits and pieces, mostly so I could give myself a little bit of breathing room, really get stuck into the house renovation, and most importantly of all, have some proper, phones-down, nowhere-to-be time with Sam and Zac. I feel like a different person. Refreshed, brimming with ideas, and genuinely so ready to get back to chatting with you every other Sunday morning over your cuppa.

There is so much I want to share with you over the coming months, and I cannot wait.

But first… there are now over 20,000 of you?!

I've had to write that sentence about four times because I still can't quite believe it.

For those of you who have been here from the very beginning, you'll know I started this newsletter simply because I wanted somewhere a little more personal. A space that is completely mine, where I could really talk to you, go a bit deeper into colour and interiors, share everything I've learnt over the years, and ultimately help you create a home that feels completely and utterly like you.

And somehow, there are now more than 20,000 of you reading this.

It blows my mind!

So to everyone who has been here for a while, thank you, thank you, thank you. And if you're brand new here, then a very warm hello from me. I'm so happy you've found my space, and I promise you're in for a lovely time.

One of my absolute favourite things about writing this newsletter is hearing back from you. I cherish every single email and DM that you send me, whether it's an idea for something you'd love me to cover, a colour dilemma that's been keeping you up at night, or a room you'd like me to have a little look at. Please, please keep them coming. You know I'm here to help you. That has always been the whole point of this.

A little bit of a new chapter…

The response to this newsletter over the last year has been so unbelievably lovely that I've decided I want to pour a lot more time and energy into it going forwards.

I want this to be somewhere you come not just for a bit of inspiration on a Sunday morning, but for useful advice that gives you the confidence to make real decisions in your own home. More colour, more decorating advice, more of what I'm seeing in the homes I visit, more behind-the-scenes from my own renovation, more of the little lessons I'm picking up along the way, and hopefully lots of those small nuggets of inspiration that make you look at your own home in a slightly different light.

So, stay tuned my loves. There is a lot coming.

And speaking of my renovation… it's officially HERE.

When I first showed the rightmove link to a good friend of mine who is an architect, he took one look at it and said, completely deadpan: "That is genuinely the ugliest house I have ever seen."

And he wasn’t wrong…

Sam and I spent nearly two and a half years searching for the right house, because I didn't just want to find our family home. I wanted to find a project where I could show you what is actually possible without an enormous renovation budget.

And this house has everything.

The PVC windows. The dated carpets. The conservatory. The tired flooring. A few slightly questionable decorating decisions along the way. All of it.

But that is exactly why I fell in love with it and I think so many of you will look at this house and recognise little bits of your own home in it.

Over the next few months I'm going to walk you through the entire renovation and share all the juicy bits. The decisions, the mistakes, the things that are genuinely worth spending money on, and, most importantly, the small changes that can completely transform a room.

Because you really don't always need to rip everything out.

Sometimes it's a lick of paint.

Sometimes it's changing the flooring.

Sometimes it's a bit of panelling, or updating the cabinetry, or simply looking at something you already own with completely fresh eyes.

I want to show you just how much you can change through colour, a bit of creativity, and clever little decisions, rather than just throwing money at a room and hoping for the best. And I promise, hand on heart, I'm going to share absolutely everything I learn along the way.

So, rather than me rambling on any longer…

Episode 1 is dropping very soon, but today, the official teaser trailer is finally, finally live so you can see the madness for yourself:

For this first one back, I want you to pop the kettle on, settle in, and go watch the trailer. Hit subscribe so you don’t miss Episode 1 when it lands next Sunday, then come back and tell me what you think—would you have bought it, or run a mile?!

Anyway, my loves…

WELCOME BACK.

I've missed this. I've missed you. And I am so excited for what's coming next.

Lots of love,

Tash x
