Hello lovely,
Autumn has truly arrived, and with it, all the rich, irresistible colours that make this season a joy for your wardrobe and your home. This week, let’s get inspired by those burgundy tones, warm browns, glowing oranges, and pops of bright blue that are catching my eye right now.
My Colour of the Month: Burgundy
Burgundy is having a major moment! If you’ve spotted the gorgeous Cashmere Burgundy Jumper from Jigsaw on my Instagram, you’ll know it’s a firm favourite. It’s timeless, chic, and wonderfully versatile for interiors, think layering it into cushions, throws, even paint colours. My trick? If you find yourself drawn to colour, try wearing it for a month or two (like a Coat or a jumper). If it brings you joy, it’s bound to be perfect as a little pop in your home, too.

Cosy Layers: Brown & Green
As the days get crisper, I’m obsessed with snuggly layers. This American Vintage jacket with brown and green piping is simply gorgeous and I know I’m going to get so much wear out of it when it gets colder. Mixing warm autumnal tones together, burgundy, brown, green, makes spaces feel deliciously rich and inviting. Don’t be afraid to throw in a bit of bright blue for a modern twist.

Statement Solutions: Small Space Magic
Christmas is creeping closer, which means sleepovers and extra guests. If you’re short on space, the Bed in a Bun from Loaf (mine’s in sticky toffee velvet!) is a smart, stylish solution. It doubles as an ottoman, then transforms your living room into a guest bedroom, comfort guaranteed, according to my mum!

Chic Lighting: Go Big!
Lighting is the unsung hero of autumn. I get so many questions about pendant lights! Both Dunelm and Soho Home have pendants I love. Top tip: go a size bigger than you think for a true ‘wow’ factor. A larger pendant makes a real statement and fills the room with an elegant, enveloping glow.
I love both these pendants and have actually just bought the Dunelm one, and the quality is really incredible and the size is so chic.

A Touch of Pattern: Cushions & Accessories
Break up block colours with a sprinkle of pattern. I’m head over heels for Joro Home’s striped velvet cushion in brown. Stripes are classic and never go out of style, they add instant depth and play beautifully with other autumn colours.

Tabletop Joy: Autumn Entertaining
Claire, the founder of Late Afternoon, and a really good friend, everything she curates is beautiful. These tumblers are a new obsession. They’re handmade, speckled, and perfect for gifting (or keeping for yourself).

Autumnal Tiles: Unexpected Browns
Recently I’ve been working with clients on ‘statement bathrooms’, so I’ve been looking for more unusual tiles away from the traditional geen, blue or neutral colours you normally associate with this room.
I’m really excited to show you these cola brown tiles, they look so chic when paired with cream. These ones are by Ca’pietra, and the quality is absolutely exceptional, they are a brand I just really trust. If you are currently planning your bathroom then go check this brand out, and consider brown and cream!

Wood Warmth: Mapper Wood Console Table
Mapper Wood is going to be big next year, it’s so chic and will really elevate your space. It’s elegant, has a warm undertone, and pairs beautifully with both light and dark tones. Perfect for console units, bedside tables, or coffee tables. I wanted to share this console table as I know how hard it is to find a really amazing console unit, and this is one that can go anywhere, in a hallway, behind a sofa, in a bedroom or beneath a mirror. Yes, it’s an investment, but statement pieces like these never date.

Soft Landing: Cosy Floors
And for your floors, I have to shout about the Floor Street ‘Honey Carpet’. This one’s the real deal, properly heavy duty, so it stands up to daily life (and all the wild antics in Zac’s playroom!). But what I love most is how soft it feels underfoot. You can kneel, sprawl, or stretch out and it’s just so comfy, unlike most hardwearing carpets that feel scratchy, this one’s gorgeously gentle on the skin. It’s proof that you can have something practical and totally cosy at the same time. I highly recommend if you want warmth and durability without any compromise.

This edit is all about layering colour, texture, and personality, burgundy, brown, deep orange, with a joyful flash of blue.
Tash x
